  Probably the best meal I have ever had. Every bite was perfectly crafted. I opted for the a la carte menu but will definitely get the omakase next time.

  This place is amazing. It's filling in the best kind of way. The flavors are so delicious. I get weary of raw fish from places, but this I do not and it is outstanding. I'm hoping they start to put them closer in the city, but I'll travel for now. Lots of thumbs up!

  Known for quality seafood dishes including oysters and lobster rolls, this Barbara Lynch restaurant offers a lively atmosphere, good food and wine (limited drink options). It's a popular spot in the South End and doesn't offer many reservation options so can have long lines and be loud in the small space. Their outside patio (when open) is private and offers great outdoor seating. Give them a call and ask if they are doing any special programs when they offer other food options (amazing paella for example).

  The food was decent but a bit overpriced. We came here on a Friday evening at 5:30 with reservations made through OpenTable 2 weeks before. The restaurant called me the day before to confirm the reservations, which was nice. We started off with some oysters, which were high quality, then got the Charred Spanish octopus, which was the best dish of the restaurant. For entrees, I got the sea bass and my girlfriend got the cod. The bass was a bit disappointing because it wasn't very tasty, but my girlfriend said she liked her dish. I wish there were more choices in the food menu; their wine menu is definitely extensive. Overall the vibe of the place was nice, there were folks at the bar but we had our intimacy at a corner table.
